This week took an unexpected, unprecedented and frankly unwanted turn of events. As the Covid-19 Virus sweeps the world in panic, Loop designs took a leave of absence considering the environment and state of the world. All activities were postponed until an announcement was made as to how us as students would carry on with the module. Some of the members of Loop Designs returned to their home countries as this virus took the world by storm.
However this did not last long as the module leader explained that deadlines would not be affected as we would have a online form of classes until the semester was over and so we would be able to carry on working just as normal only without being face to face as the submission itself was to be online regardless of the circumstances. I myself didn't see the situation as being that big of a deal until the realisation that, the pop up studio component would not come into fruition. Nonetheless work had to be done and Loop Designs prides itself in our dutiful work rate.
